QUALITY
POLICY
SGM is aware of the need and benefits, both in-house and to the client,
to have an operational and practical Quality Accreditation to Australian
Standard 3902 (ISO 9002). SGM will work towards this Accreditation in
due course.
However, in the interim, SGM will provide all
the relevant documentation, if requested by the client, such as:
- Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
- Work Method Statements.
- Dimensional Check Sheets.
- Welding Procedures and Qualifications.
- Safety Audits.
- Risk Analysis reports/surveys.
- Varying other proforma.
Both Scott
and Terry have worked for companies possessing Accreditation to AS3902
(ISO 9002) and AS3901 (ISO 9001).
INSURANCE
SGM Fabrication and Construction Pty Limited currently has in place the
following insurance policies.
- Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
- $10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance.
- Motor Vehicle Third Party Property Damage
Insurance.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH
AND SAFETY
SGM has a fully documented company “Company Safety Manual”
incorporating the following elements:
- Company Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
- Roles, responsibilities, authorities and
duties.
- Safety representative (safety coordinator).
- Safety committee.
- Training.
- Inductions.
- Work instructions and procedures.
- Safe work practices.
- Plant and equipment.
- Hazard indicators and warnings.
- Incidents injuries.
- Records.
- Rehabilitation.
- Emergency procedures.
- Review of safety system.
- Suspected drug or alcohol affected personnel.
- Additional manuals and safety booklets.
The “Company
Safety Manual” is available upon your request and we would welcome
the opportunity to discuss this further.
Suppliers and Subcontractors performing work for SGM
are, at a minimum, required to perform their tasks in accordance with
the “Safety Procedures Manual”.
